There is some confusion with blazing north of G.H. Wilson Road (or maybe I just didnt see the turnoff, but this happened 2 thru hikes in a row). The blazes seem to stop. To get around this, continue roadwalking north for about 10 minutes until you get to the next road intersection. Turn right on R. Jones road and you can pick up the trail again in about 1/4 to 1/2 mile.

Todd, is this the road walk, coming off of East Charlton Rd? If so, I believe the turn you want is at a house on the right with a fence running toward a field in the back. There is a sign at the woods line. We usually come the other way so it is clearer. Just stay along the fence and then skirt the woods and you should find it next time.

Confusion after entering woods off Greenville Road. Hiked North, Monday the 8th, followed all the blazes and ended up coming out where we had started on Greenville Road. Did not backtrack on trail as while hiking climbed hill and on decent ended up weaving across 3 fields clearly marked MidState Trail then following yellow flags as the blazes ended abruptly when Greenville Road came into view only yellow was the flags which lead up back to trail approximately 10 yards from entrance on Greenville Road.--Will have to rehike-going in the other direction (south) to find out where we went wrong
