Got a pup who loves the woods, I know the land is made up of different properties it sounds like, and I know there's a lot of wildlife, but are there any rules against dogs that anyone knows of?
Thanks!!

I can't speak for all of the trail, but I frequently walk sections in Westminster with my dog. Leashed. I think it is just a matter of courtesy and control. If you can't control your dog with a single spoken command, the dog should be leashed in my opinion. For example, there is a place where the trail crosses a couple different farmer's land, and there are cows and a bull out there. Bad for all of us if your dog is out of control. Also, though you may not always see them, there are lots of coyote along the trail. Generally not an issue in terms of safety, but you don't want your dog haring off after them and get into a bad situation. Finally, not all dogs get along with other dogs. I can't tell you how many times I have had dogs the "never had an issue before" went after my leashed dog, and it wasn't playing. I have been around dogs all my life and know the difference. I have been bitten or nipped by "friendly" unleashed dogs when out walking with my leashed dog. Be as respectful of others rights as you are of your own and your dogs. FWIW.

If there is a rule against dogs, then apparently nobody knows about it. The 2 or 3 people I saw on the trail all had dogs with them. Like someone posted above, as long as you practice common courtesy, I doubt it's an issue.
