Solo hiked another segment of the MST on Sunday. I started at 4-H club on McCormack Road in Spencer and headed south to Rt9, then hiked back to McCormack Road. What a gorgeous day for hike on Sunday. Here is a list of the wildlife seen during this segment: I seen what I believe was one red-tailed hawk on the no-name hill northwest of Buck Hill and a Heron at a small swampy pond just north of Bond Street. There were many small fast flying swept wing birds in the grassy area surrounding the Moose Hill dam. These looked like Swifts, but I do not know the type. I also came across 4 woodland frogs hopping along at various points of the trail.
